Dean’s Message

Superior University

At the Faculty of Medical Sciences, our vision is to develop competent, compassionate and ethically grounded healthcare professionals who are prepared to meet the evolving needs of patients and society. Through Azra Naheed Medical College and Dental College, we are committed to creating an educational environment where academic excellence, clinical competence, professionalism, innovation and research go hand in hand. Our integrated, student-centred curricula encourage students to understand health and disease holistically while fostering collaboration across disciplines. Alongside strong foundations in medical and dental sciences, our programs emphasize practical skills, simulation-based learning, community engagement, evidence-based practice and research, enabling students to translate knowledge into meaningful healthcare outcomes. We are embracing emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, digital health and advanced simulation, to enrich teaching, learning and assessment. At the same time, we remain firmly committed to the human dimensions of healthcare including empathy, integrity, ethical decision-making, communication and respect for every patient. Our aim is not simply to prepare graduates for examinations or professional practice, but to nurture lifelong learners, critical thinkers, researchers and future leaders in healthcare. We encourage our students to question, innovate, collaborate and contribute to the advancement of medicine, dentistry and health sciences through Superior University’s Character, Courage and Competence (3C) Model. We aspire to build a culture where excellence is pursued, innovation is encouraged, and compassionate care remains at the heart of everything we do.
